These are built around a highly efficient fan cooling system with R600a refrigerant to ensure these supply enough cooling capacity.
Other “lesser” quality coolers are often direct cooling which won’t cool to the minimum requirement of 5 degrees in high ambient room temp’s.
We have trialed many brands from Asia and also brought coolers from big name stores in New Zealand, and were always let down by the performance at maintaining lower temperatures. This is what let us to find an alternative at a price point that is many hundreds less than equivalent higher end coolers, we have been testing these in NZ for over 6 months and they preform to spec in cooler and hot temperatures.
